ANALISIS KERUSAKAN JALAN AKIBAT VOLUME KENDARAAN “STUDI KASUS : JALAN RAYA SEMARANG BOJA KM 38 – 42”

Abstract

Traffic volume is one of the factors causing damage to the road. With the increasing number of vehicles it is possible that the road will suffer damage in a relatively short time. Jalan Raya Semarang Boja uses the flexible pavement type according to the authority of the road, which is included in the category of provincial roads. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of damage that occurs on the road using the Bina Marga method, to determine the average daily traffic (LHR) at peak hours, and identify the type of damage that occurs on the road section . Data collection methods by observation or direct observation. The results of this study are: (1) the value of road pavement damage (Nr) for the Semarang - Boja direction (east to West) is 89.2, while the value of the road damage (Nr) for the Boja - Semarang direction (west - east) is 76. (2) LHR value on the road section is 2382.5 pcu / hour, and the peak hour in the morning condition occurs on Monday at 06.00 - 07.00 as large as 1664.3 pcu / hour while the afternoon condition occurs on Monday at 16.00 -17.00 at 1134,6 pcu / hour. (3) Based on a survey of road conditions for the types of road damage on the Semarang Boja Raya road KM 38 - 42, including: longitudinal cracks, cracked boxes, cracked crocodile skin, grooves, holes, sinks and damage to the side of the road. Of the many types of damage that occurred, the most type of crack damage occurred on the road section.
