Introduction

Jisabda Scientific Journal of Regional Literature and Languages, and Their Teaching has DOI Prefix: 10.26877/jisabda, ISSN 2715-6281 (print), ISSN 2715-7563 (online) is a journal published by the Regional Language and Literature Education Study Program, PGRI University Semarang. Jisabda Scientific Journal of Regional Literature and Language, and Teaching has a focus and scope of scientific articles including research results in the fields of Javanese/Regional Language, Javanese/Regional Literature, Javanese/Regional Culture and pursuits in schools or universities. The purpose of this journal publication is to disseminate conceptual thinking or ideas that have been achieved.

  1. How to Write the Title, Name and Address of the Author

The title of the article must be written at the top of the first page with the text positioned in the center. Meanwhile, the author's name (without an academic degree), author's email, and author's affiliation, must be written in the middle of the text also under the article title. Authors must provide two lines of space between the title and the author's name. Then, the space between the author's email and the abstract title is one space. Keywords must be written below the entire abstract for all words. They should be arranged alphabetically and separated semicolons by a maximum of three to five words. In addition, the title of articles written in Indonesian must also be stated in English ( see example above).

The responsible author, corresponding author, or corresponding author should be written first and then followed by the second, the third, and so on. Communication regarding article revisions and final statements will be informed via email or via the OJS Journal System. If there is more than one author, the author's name must be written separately with a comma (,). If the author's name consists of at least two words, the first name must not be abbreviated. If the author's name is only one word, it should be written that way. However, in the online version it will be written in two words with the same name repeatedly for metadata indexing purposes. (Camdali and Tunc, 2006; Fridman, 2008).

General Article Guidelines

General guidelines for manuscripts are as follows:

  1. Manuscripts are the results of original research in the field of education that have not been published in other publications or publications.
  2. The manuscript does not contain elements of plagiarism. The editorial board will immediately reject texts that show plagiarism.
  3. Manuscripts that have been written using the Journal of Learning Innovation in Schools guidelines (in MS Word (docx) format, use this article template) must be submitted via the Online Submission System using the Open Journal System (OJS) on the Journal of Learning Innovation in Schools portal https:// journal.upgris.ac.id/index.php/jisabda/index selects only one procedure. Then, register as one of the authors in the "Register" section.
  4. Manuscript writing guidelines and templates can be downloaded. Article writing templates and guidelines are available in MS Word (.docx) format.
  5. The online submission script can be seen in the online submission guide section below.
  6. Manuscripts that do not comply with the Jisabda writing guidelines for the Scientific Journal of Literature and Regional Languages, and Teaching will be returned to the author before the review process.
  7. The manuscript must contain several aspects of a scientific article as follows: (subtitles in order), namely: (a) article title, (b) author's name (no academic degree), (c) author's affiliation, (d) email author (e) abstract and keywords, (f) introduction, (g) implementation and methods, (h) results and discussion, (i) conclusion, and (j) references,
  8. Avoid using subtitles in the body of the article. If there are subtitles, then the subtitles are written in bold and capital letters at the beginning of the word. Use left text alignment without underline.
  9. The manuscript can be written in either Indonesian. The article consists of ten (10) to fifteen (15) pages including figures and tables. The manuscript must be written according to the article template. The article is written on A4 size paper (210x297 mm), with custom margins as follows: left 20 mm, right 20 mm, bottom 25 mm and top 30 mm.
  10. The text of the article must be written using Times New Roman font, 12pt font size, 2 line spaces, separated into two columns (except the main title, author's name and abstract) with 10 mm space between the columns.
  11. Words from foreign or unfamiliar languages are expressed in Italic format. For articles in Indonesian, foreign terms or words should be avoided. Each paragraph starts 10mm from the left side of the border while there is no space between paragraphs. All numbers are written in Arabic numbering format, except new sentences.
  12. Tables and figures are placed in the text group after the referenced table or figure. Each image must be captioned below the image and numbered in Arabic numbering format followed by the image title. Each table must be titled and numbered in Arabic numbering format above the table followed by the table title. Attached images must print well (font size, resolution and line space clearly visible). Images, tables and charts should be placed centered between groups of text. If it is larger, it can be placed in the middle of the page. Tables may not contain vertical lines, while horizontal lines are only permitted for important points.

Guide to Article Body Text

Article title:  The title must be informative and written both briefly and clearly, not causing various interpretations, must be appropriate to the issues to be discussed. The initial word is written in capital letters and is symmetrical. The title of the article does not contain any unusual abbreviations. The main idea should be written first and then followed by the explanation. The title of the article must be written in twelve words, 12pt font, with bold type and centered text. Meanwhile, the abstract must be written in 150-300 words and followed by three to five keywords.

Introduction : the introduction section mainly contains (1) introduction; (2) method; (3) results and discussion; and (4) conclusion.

Method : basically this section explains the research method used, including how to carry it out. Tools, materials, media or research instruments must be explained well. If there are statistical formulas used as part of the research method, it is best not to write formulas that are generally accepted.

Results and Discussion : this section is the main part of the research article and is usually the longest part of an article. The research results presented in this section are “clean” results. The data analysis process does not need to be presented. Tables and graphs can be used to clarify the presentation of research results. Tables and graphs should be commented on or discussed. Discussion of research results is a form of researcher scholarship. For this reason, the author is expected to be able to reveal in detail and in depth the findings in his research. In this section, the author must refer to previous research results that have been published in scientific journals (especially reputable national or internationally accredited journals). Authors are also advised to refer to research results that have been published in the Journal of Learning Innovation in Schools.

Conclusion : The closing contains conclusions and suggestions, each of which is written as a subtitle. This section sometimes also includes a thank you note.

References : All references used in the article must be included in this section. In this section, all references used must be taken from primary sources (scientific journals and which is at least 80% of all references) published in the last ten years. Each article must have at least ten references.

Guide to Citations and References

All data or quotations presented in articles taken from other authors' articles must include reference sources. References should use a reference management application such as Mendeley, End Note, or Zotero. The writing format used in Jisabda: Scientific Journal of Literature and Regional Languages, as well as its teaching follows the format applied by APA 6th Edition (American Psychological Association).

Online Article Submission Guide

Manuscripts must be submitted by one of two systems (the second procedure is preferred):

  1. Documents must be submitted by the Online Submission System at Jisabda Scientific Journal of Literature and Regional Languages, and Teaching HERE  .
  2. First, the author must register as an author or reviewer (checking the role as author) at "Register" or HERE.
  3. After the registration steps are complete, log in as an author, click "New Submission". The article submission stage consists of five stages, namely: (1). Start, (2). Upload Submission, (3). Enter Metadata, (4). Upload Additional Files, (5). Confirmation.
  4. In the "Start" column, select Section Journal (Full Article), go through all the checklists.
  5. In the "Upload Submission" column, upload the article file in MSWord format in this column.
  6. In the "Enter Metadata" column, fill in all the data and author affiliation. Including Journal Title, Abstract and Indexing Keywords.
  7. In the "Upload Supplementary Files" column, authors are allowed to upload supplementary files, statements, or other things.
  8. In the "Confirmation" column, if the data you entered is correct, click "Finish Submission".

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors whose manuscripts are published agree to the following conditions:

  1. The right of publication for all journal manuscript materials published/published on this electronic website of Jisabda is held by the editorial board with the knowledge of the author (moral rights remain with the author of the manuscript).
