MODIFIKASI ENGINE KONVENSIONAL 4 LANGKAH SILINDER TUNGGAL MENGGUNAKAN SISTEM EFI DENGAN BAHAN BAKAR ETANOL

Abstract


With less fuel and more vehicles with conventional systems or carburetors This research was conducted to see how the influence of the engine from a conventional system that was modified using the EFI system and by using ethanol fuel in the EFI system. From the tests carried out, the highest average torque results obtained on the use of EFI systems with Pertamax fuel with a torque of 6.95 Nm at 4750 Rpm and a power of 7.6 Hp at 7750 Rpm. At the highest torque carburetor system at 5750 Rpm at 6.06 Nm and power at 5.0 Hp at 6500-7750 Rpm. Then after using ethanol fuel in the EFI system the peak torque is obtained at 7250 Rpm rotation with a value of 5.79 Nm and with a power of 5.9 hp at 8000-8250 Rpm. As well as from the fuel consumption test results from the curve in the form that the use of different fuels shows that fuel consumption tends to be the same, compared to the carburetor fuel system.
