KLASIFIKASI PERILAKU KEHADIRAN MAHASISWA SERTA DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP PRESTASI BELAJAR

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan dampak perilaku kehadiran mahasiswa terhadap prestasi belajar mereka pada awal, tengah dan akhir semester. Perilaku kehadiran tersebut diklasifikasikan menjadi empat bentuk yaitu (1) mahasiswa yang tidak hadir dengan dan atau tanpa keterangan, (2) tidak hadir tanpa keterangan, (3) tidak hadir dengan keterangan, (4) hadir 100%. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap mahasiswa program studi pendidikan ekonomi universitas PGRI Semarang semester genap tahun akademik 2018/2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perilaku kehadiran yang berbeda memberikan dampak yang berbeda terhadap prestasi belajar ujian akhir semester (UAS). Oleh sebab itu, dosen sebaiknya memberikan perhatian terhadap perilaku kehadiran mahasiswa. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan dapat melakukan kajian lebih mendalam mengenai faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi masing-masing perilaku kehadiran mahasiswa.
