TEORI BEBAN KOGNTIF DALAM KECEMASAN MATEMATIKA

Abstract


Kecemasan sebagai perasaan tidak menyenangkan ditandai dengan adanya rasa khawatir, gelisah, bingung dan tertekan. Dalam konteks pendidikan, konstruk kecemasan dapat ditemukan dalam beberapa bentuk, salah satunya adalah kecemasan terhadap matematika, atau yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah kecemasan matematika. Efek negatif dari kecemasan matematika dapat ditemui pada semua jenjang pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan kecemasan matematika dengan beban kognitif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, Data diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket. Penelitian ini menghasilkan suatu kesimpulan bahwa kecemasan matematika berkorelasi positif beban kognitif intrinsic, extraneous, maupun germane, dimana nilai korelasi tertinggi ada pada korelasi kecemasan dengan beban kognitif intrinsic, yaitu sebaesar 0,739.
